Summary
Kyle Chase, a Liverpool DJ and former owner of the now-defunct venue Spray Shop, has absconded from HMP Thorn Cross, a Category D open prison in Cheshire, while serving a 12-year, eight-month sentence for drug trafficking. Chase pleaded guilty in 2024 to conspiracy to supply cocaine, heroin, ketamine and cannabis through the encrypted messaging platform EncroChat. Cheshire Police said he was last seen leaving the prison at around 9 AM on 14 August wearing a black jacket, black shorts and a grey cap, and carrying a black backpack, and officers are appealing for information on his whereabouts.
